1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing and using Forge ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Forge is an online platform that connects skilled tradespeople with clients, businesses, and learners. Our services include:

  • A directory of verified expert listings
  • Job posting and matching services
  • Educational content and courses
  • Subscription-based access to premium features

3. USER ACCOUNTS AND REGISTRATION

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate, current, and complete
  • Maintain the security of your password and identification
  • Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
  • Collect or store personal data about other users without permission

5. PAYMENT TERMS

Certain features of the Platform require payment:

  • Expert Listings: One-time fee of $9.00 to create and maintain a listing
  • Subscriptions: Monthly subscription fee of $9.00 for directory access
  • Business Listings: Monthly subscription fee of $19.00 for business accounts

All payments are processed through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

6. REFUND POLICY

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. For subscription services, refunds are not available for partial billing periods. One-time listing fees are generally non-refundable unless the service is not delivered as described. Contact our support team for refund requests.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Forge and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant Forge a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Forge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Platform.

10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services. Your interactions with third-party services are solely between you and the third party.

11. TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion features in your settings.

12. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
